Kraaifontein police arrested two men and seized drugs worth R40 000, in separate incidents.
According to Kraaifontein police spokesman Captain Hein Hendricks, the station’s anti-gang unit searched a house in Park Avenue, Scottsdene, in the early hours of Saturday morning, September 5.
They found 52 mandrax tablets, with a street value of R2000, in an outside toilet and arrested a 19-year-old man.
In a separate incident, later that afternoon, police arrested a 32-year-old man who was allegedly found with tik in his possession.
Police say a later search of the suspect’s home turned up R40 000 worth of mandrax tablets hidden in the ceiling.
