Police arrested a man and recovered stolen goods after a burglary in Parow.
Parow police spokesman Captain Kevin Williams said the homeowner had been phoned at work on Tuesday morning November 7 and told her that her home had been burgled. According to the police, she has been the victim of several burglaries in recent months.
A tip-off led police to an address in Van Eyssen Street, where officers recovered the woman’s cellphones. They found her computer tablet at an Andries Street address.
“We managed to arrest a man positively linked to the burglary,” said Captain Williams.
The suspect had been wanted for a house robbery in February. Another suspect is still at large.
