A tip-off led to the arrest of a 31-year-old woman in Brackenfell yesterday for allegedly cultivating dagga for personal use.
She was arrested by members of the Metro police property crime task team and the K9 Unit, which had been monitoring the house for two weeks before applying for a search warrant.
Metro police spokesperson, Ruth Solomons, said, “During the raid, officers found two cultivation tents in different rooms, bottles of chemicals, two small bankies of high grade dagga and containers with dagga seeds.”
The woman, who is a tenant, admitted to cultivating dagga for personal use. She was arrested and taken to the Brackenfell police station.
