A non-profit organisation is running three training courses at the Fisantekraal library to help people find work.
The courses in job readiness, business skills and English for adults, started at the library on Monday April 9.
Fisantekraal Centre for Development (FCD), a Christian-based non-profit, started in 2010 and has a training centre next to the Durbanville taxi rank, where the unemployed can learn skills to help them land a job.
There are courses in job readiness, baking, business skills, frail care and spiritual development
FCD volunteer and coordinator Chantelle Engelbrecht said the centre hoped to open a main campus in Fisantekraal with the Durbanville facility becoming the satellite training facility.
She said the community had shown interest in attending the training, and the business skills course was already full.
She said the centre needed storage space, along with volunteers who were prepared to help with training and fund-raising.
Contact the centre at 021 975 7764 or email info@fisantekraal.org.za to find how you can help.
