Former Safmarine seamen and their families are having a bring and braai, at South Peninsula Sports Field, Rooikrans Avenue, Grassy Park, on Friday February 4. This initiative was planned after a
successful reunion, at Nantes Park, Silvertown, on November 26, last year. The former seamen from different areas such as Grassy Park, Lotus River, Seawinds, Mitchell’s Plain and Blue Downs have many stories to tell and chairperson Ikey Wiener said there are many more former Safmarine seamen who will have the
opportunity to share their experiences. There will be karaoke,
