Man nabbed for unlicensed ammunition

The man appeared in the Goodwood Magistrate's Court on firearm related charges.
A 47-year-old man was arrested at a Botha Street house in Goodwood on Thursday August 27 for possession of unlicensed ammunition. 

Goodwood police followed up on information provided by the Provincial Special Operations Task Team and found two magazines, five 9mm rounds of ammunition and two imitation firearms hidden under a bed. The man appeared in the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court on firearm related charges. 

On Sunday August 16, members of Glenwood Neighbourhood Watch and Byers Security arrested two men, aged 26 and 29, after recognising them from video footage of a house break-in from the area.

They appeared in the Goodwood Magistrate’s Court on charges of house break-in and theft.
