Goodwood police arrested two men aged 34 and 40, last week for the alleged possession of stolen property and possession of drugs.

The officers had found several ID books, gate motor batteries and a motorbike battery during the search, said Goodwood police spokesman Captain Waynne Theunis.
The property was linked to a theft-out-of-motor-vehicle case. Police also confiscated a packet of tik.
Meanwhile, a thief is posing as a municipal worker to get into residents’ homes and steal from them, the police have warned.
The man told a 72-year-old woman on Tuesday March 26 that he needed to come inside her home to check the wall plugs and serial number on her electrical box.
Later the woman found her Samsung cellphone had been stolen from her bedroom.
Captain Theunis urged the public not to admit people to their homes before asking for valid means of identification.
“If in doubt, they must call the office where the (person) says he or she is employed,” he said.
