Horror crash

A car crash in the early hours of Saturday August 6 claimed the life of 27-year-old Kuils River man Lamont Slabbert, who had been travelling in an Opel Corsa Lite. Durbanville police spokesman Captain Marchell Rhode said the crash happened on Langberg/Fairtrees Road in Durbanville. “There were two people in the vehicle, but we cannot say at this stage which one was driving.” Captain Rhode said an Isuzu bakkie had also been involved in the crash but the driver was not injured.
