Beatrice Swartz, 19, is looking for her mother, whom she last saw in 2014.
Beatrice says her mom, Sarah Swartz, moved without her from their home on a farm in Murraysburg, about 540km from Cape Town, and was last heard of, a year later, moving to Sunbird Park in Kuils River.
Beatrice says she needs her mother because her living conditions are poor, she is unemployed and cleans people’s homes to make a living.
“Where I am living now is not all that great, so I try to stay with the people I clean for. I want to find my mom, then I can start anew and my life will go on.”
She says her father died in 2014 and her mom left soon after his death.
She was forced by her aunt to finish school in Beaufort West but says she could not cope without her mother.
