Police have arrested two suspected drug dealers in Kraaifontein.
A
37-year-old Scottsdene woman was arrested at the weekend for being in possession of drugs and an
unlicensed gun
Police
spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut said police were acting on a tip-off about drugs being sold in Bontebok Street on Saturday, September 12 when they stopped and searched the
37-year-old woman for drugs.
In her
possession, they found a 9mm pistol and ammunition, 4 grams of tik and 66 grams
of mandrax.
Later on
the same day, a 56-year-old man was also stopped and searched in First Avenue. He
was arrested for carrying 86 mandrax tablets.
Both
suspects will appear at the Kuils River Magistrate’s Court this week.
