The City is appealing for donations for its Winter Warmth Blanket Drive to help the homeless at its shelters.

The blanket drive is running at the Durbanville municipal building until the end of the month, according to ward councillor Hendri Terblanche.

“People are invited to donate any unwanted blankets throughout the week from 9am to 3pm at the municipal building. I’ll ensure the handover to the City’s various safe spaces,” he said.

Socks, sleeping bags and pillows are also needed.
