A man was arrested after he was found in possession of drugs on Wednesday January 22 in Voortrekker Road.
Law enforcement officers followed up after receiving a tip-off of a suspected drug dealer in the area.
The officers spotted the man and then proceeded to question him.
Law enforcement spokesperson, Wayne Dyason, said: “The officers’ interrogation of the suspect led to the recovery of 29 bankies of higher grade dagga, 30 bankies of tik, 14 half mandrax tablets, 8 whole mandrax tablets and a big bankie of tik waiting to be cut and packaged for distribution as well as cash to the amount of R3 579.”
The suspect was arrested for the possession/dealing of drugs and taken to Goodwood police station.
