A suspected thief was found sitting inside an Audi in Oxford Street on Wednesday April 24 at 4:50am, said Goodwood police spokesman Captain Waynne Theunis.
An armed-response officer spotted the suspect who was then detained by a police officer.
The suspect was charged with attempted theft out of a vehicle.
Meanwhile, a man wanted for a two-year-old burglary was arrested on Monday April 22 at 8am.
When an officer saw a white VW Gold parked outside a known drug den in Molteno Street, he searched the vehicle and the four occupants.
“After finding nothing, he took the four men to the police station where they were profiled,” said Captain Theunis.
One of them was wanted for a break-in at a Maitland house in July 2017.
