Durbanville Primary School’s choir scored 93% for its performance in the Tygerberg International Eisteddfodd, which is on until Wednesday May 17.
The choir, comprising 85 pupils from Grades 4 to 7, performed at Parow High School on Monday May 8, according to teacher Amanda Jooste.
“We had our performance at the high school where there are currently 32 senior primary schools taking part this year. The songs we performed on the night were: Sisi Ni Moja, Hy sal sy Kudde Laat Wei and How Great Thou Art,” she said.
Last year, the school scooped second place in the event.
