Several items including a flat-screen TV were stolen from a house in Sonstraal Heights in Durbanville last week Wednesday, at about 11.45am.
Bassett Alarms posted on Facebook that their response officers were dispatched to the scene, following several alarm activations. They found the front security gate and door forced open.
Lieutenant Marchell Rhode from the Durbanville police confirmed the incident.
“The police were notified of the incident and can confirm that entry was gained through the front door,” he said.
