A vagrant accused of stabbing a man to death in Brackenfell last weekend is still at large, say police.
Officers responding to the incident in Brackenfell Central, on Saturday December 17, had found the body of an unknown man who had been stabbed, said police spokesman Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi.
“ The victim was declared deceased on the scene by the medical personnel.”
Police are investigating a murder.
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased and his friend were standing close to the train station when the vagrant came up to them and stabbed the victim before running away.
