An unidentified body was found in a shallow grave by a resident in Kruisfontein Road, Brackenfell, yesterday morning.
Brackenfell police spokeswoman, Warrant Officer Erica Crous, told the Northern News yesterday afternoon that a pedestrian walking to work had spotted the body in a shallow grave at about 10.45am.
Police had secured the scene and a forensics team was to search the shallow grave for clues.
Warrant Officer Crous urged anyone with information to contact Warrant Officer Raymond Saville, at the Brackenfell detective branch, at 021 9831940.
