Jungle Theatre Company in partnership with Assitej-SA is celebrating “Bring a Child to the Theatre Day” on Wednesday March 20 at 3 Marchmont Road, Muizenberg, from 10am to 2pm. Artists will be hosting storytelling circles from Khoisan and Xhosa mythology and will perform the show Python and the Qunube Tree. They will facilitate acting and dance workshops while singer Zolani Mahola will also entertain the children. The event is suitable for children aged between 4 and 10 and their families. Tickets cost R100 and are available through Quicket. There will also be food stalls with popcorn, juice, and macaroni and cheese on sale.
