Cape Cultural Collective’s April programme

■ Ethnomusicologist Dizu Plaatjies and blues guitarist Elton Goslett, pictured, are among the line-up for the Cape Cultural Collective’s April programme, Shades of Freedom, at the Slave Church Museum in Long Street on Friday April 21, at 7pm. Also performing will be Blackroots Marimba and vocalist Aziza Davids. The spoken word component will be represented by wordsmith Romeo Maasdorp, slam poet Siphosethu Phikelela and the youthful poet and rapper Vusumuzi Mpofu. Entry is free and donations are welcome.
