Shiloh Top Spinners Table Tennis Club’s Shaun Jones, impressive as always, facing off in the men’s singles finals and veteren’s 40-plus finals against eventual winner Shane Overmeyer. The two joined forces to win gold in the men’s doubles final. Jones also picked up bronze in the mixed doubles. Nine times SA champion Shane Overmeyer lost his bid to win a 10th SA singles title, going down to former Cape Town player Luke Abrahams,who now lives in Johannesburg. However, Overmeyer claimed gold in the men’s veterans division, beating Shiloh Top Spinners Shaun Jones in the 40-plus division. The two rivals joined forces to win gold in the men’s doubles final.
