Roadworks along the Uys Krige Drive between Plattekloof Road and Giel Basson Drive should be completed by Thursday December 7, says the City.
“We are quite pleased to see that this work is going according to its planned timelines, and Panorama residents can expect smooth driving along Uys Krige Drive very soon,“ said mayoral committee member for urban mobility Rob Quintas.
Traffic in both directions on Uys Krige Drive will continue to be affected as work is scheduled to take place on both carriageways.
All lanes reopen to traffic by 3pm on weekdays and at 6pm over the weekend.
“Road markings, as well as the traffic light at the intersection, will be reinstated once resurfacing is complete,” Mr Quintas said.
