Tygerberg Hospital’s main gate has reopened following renovations to improve security and traffic flow.
The gate now has dedicated lanes for emergencies, staff and visitors.
The reopening of the main gate on Tuesday October 31 coincided with the closure of the hospital’s east entrance for renovations there.
“Our hope is that this upgraded entrance will offer a welcoming environment for everyone in the coming years, including our staff, patients and stakeholders,” said hospital CEO Dr Matodzi Mukosi.
