Two people were killed and three others suffered moderate to serious injuries in an accident on the N1 in Kraaifontein, on Sunday, between the Brighton and Okavango roads.
Only one vehicle was involved.
According to ER24 spokesman Pieter Rossouw, it seems one of the vehicle’s tyres burst.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, which then rolled several times.
Paramedics found two people who were ejected from the vehicle.
They were declared dead on scene.
The remaining three patients were treated and transported to various hospitals for further treatment. Local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
