Police have arrested two men in connection with the killing of a 35-year-old man on a Kraaifontein farm.
One of the suspects is from Brackenfell and the other is from Kraaifontein.
The three men got into a scuffle at about 4.50pm, on Saturday, after one of the suspects accused the 35-year-old man of spreading lies about him, police say.
“During this fight, the deceased sustained stab wounds to his upper body. The two suspects fled the scene on foot,” said Brackenfell police spokeswoman Captain Erica Crous.
Emergency services confirmed the man died on the scene, she said.
Information from farm dwellers, who found the man’s body, led police to the suspects, who were arrested in Watsonia Park, Kraaifontein.
