In Touch Athletic Club in Kuils River will hold its 13th Voet of the Wine Route road race on Sunday September 29.
There are 5km, 10km and 21.1km races, starting at 8am, 7am and 6.30am respectively.
The race starts and finishes at Zevenwacht Mall, where motorists will be able to access parking from Van Riebeeck Road only on race day.
Those registered for the race will have an option to donate money to the Hope House Counselling Centre.
Club spokesman Rudi Jansen said they had donated close R10 000 to Hope House following last year’s event.
Hope House operations manager Natalie Douman said the donation last year had made a “valuable contribution”.
The club said participants could do wine tasting at the Zevenwacht Wine Estate before tackling the return route.
A prize-giving will be held at 9.45am and all participants who finish will get medals. There will also be a lucky draw.
Participants can enter here until midnight on Monday September 23.
Entries will also be accepted at the Zevenwacht Mall on Friday September 27, from 2pm to 6pm, and Saturday September 28, from 10am to 2pm, and on the race day from 5.15am.
Entry fees vary from R40 to R235.
