Entries are open for the EduKite competition for primary schools and schools for pupils with special educational needs.
The competition is part of the 23rd Cape Town International Kite Festival which takes place in Muizenberg on Saturday October 28 and Sunday October 29.
Schools that enter will get a kite-making kit containing blank kites, which they can then illustrate and fly at the festival.
There are six prizes: R3000 for first place; R2000 for second place; and R1000 for third place, awarded in each school category
