King’s School principal Neville Ontong and foundation phase teacher Lucy Comninos received two awards at the Metro North Systemics Award ceremony, held at Monte Vista Primary School, earlier this month in recognition of the school’s performance in last year’s Grade 3 systemic tests for maths and language. The school received the excellence award for achieving 90 to 100% pass rate in language and maths. The language average was above 70%. They also received a second and an award in the A++ category recognising King’s School as one of the top three independent schools in the Metro where they were placed second.
