■ Two men carrying bags of stolen goods were arrested in Parow last Thursday. Parow police spokesman Captain Kevin Williams said home burglaries were on the rise in the area. “While conducting foot patrols near Parow library, police noticed two men running with two bags in their hands,” he said. City law enforcement officers caught the men and when police officers searched the bags they found electrical tools, an electrical pump and camping gear, all worth about R10 000.
