A suspected mugger was arrested by the Ghost Squad in Bellville yesterday.
Officers, who were on patrol, saw the suspect assaulting a woman at the corner of Durban Road and the N1.
When they approached, the suspect pulled a knife on the officers, but they quickly disarmed him.
Officers arranged for medical attention for the woman before arresting the suspect.
