Friends of Bracken, a non-profit organisation in Brackenfell held its annual spring festival on Saturday September 15. More than 650 people of all ages joined in on the fun and games that took place in the Bracken Nature Reserve. Various dance groups entertained the crowd, Cape Reptile Club did a spider, reptile and scorpion demonstration, youth participated in an Amazing Race competition and Dr Alan Wood, a plant pathologist, assisted with guided walks around the nature reserve.
