Something for everyone at Parow market

Boerie rolls, milk tart, plants, clothes, jewellery and more were on offer at the monthly market held at the Parow North Bowls Club, last Saturday, in support of the local neighbourhood watch. The next market is on Saturday December 11.

Christo Francke, 67, and Naomi Francke, 66, from Fairfield, Parow, have been a feature at various markets for the past seven years. This was their fourth market in Parow North.
Denis Malan, 71, from Kraaifontein, shows off his 53-year-old Renault R-10 Alconi. It cost R1990 to buy one in 1969, he says. Mr Malan collects old vehicles and holds vintage-car shows every second Sunday in Parow North.
Eveleen Langenhoven, a fashion designer from Avondale, with some of the clothes she makes and sells.
Nadine Gouws, 40, from Heathfield, says markets are a way for her to show off her hobby of making gel key-rings and jewellery, something she has been doing since 2017.
