Scottsdene man held for attempted murder

The suspect will appear at the Blue Downs Magistrate's Court this week.

Kraaifontein police arrested a 35-year-old Scottsdene man on attempted murder charges on Saturday August 1. 

According to Kraaifontein police spokesman Captain Hein Hendricks, the suspect shot at a 21-year-old man in Impala Street, Scottsdene on Tuesday, July 25. The victim was wounded in the legs and taken to hospital.

Captain Hendricks said the suspect, who is a known gang member, was being held at Kraaifontein police station and would appear at the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court once charged.
