Kraaifontein police seized dagga with a street value of more than half a million rand last week. According to the station commander, Brigadier Gerda van Niekerk, police got a tip off on Thursday July 6 that dagga was being prepared for sale in Wallacedene. Police converged on the scene and found a large haul of dagga, stuffed in bags, bottles and jars of varying sizes as well as R2 010 in cash. A man and woman, aged 27 and 26, were arrested.
