■ A retirement village of 125 homes is to be built as part of the Clara Anna Fontein estate in Durbanville. It is one of three retirement villages to be launched by Rabie Property Group under a new brand, Oasis Life, over the next six to eight months at a total cost of more than R2.5 billion. Phase one of the development, which is now being launched, will comprise 56 one-, two- and three- bedroom homes all with their own exclusive use gardens. Civils work is expected to start by the end of the year or early next year with the first handovers scheduled to take place during early 2020.
