The Kraaifontein police intercepted a vehicle carrying dagga, worth nearly R500 000, from Lesotho to an unknown location in the city yesterday, Tuesday August 16.
Four suspected drug traffickers, aged between 25 and 41, were arrested, said provincial police spokeswoman, Constable Noloyiso Rwexana.
Officers seized ten bags of dagga weighing R240kg after being tipped off about a white Ford Ranger on the N1 near Kraaifontein.
The four suspects were expected to appear in the Kuils River Magistrate’s Court
today, Wednesday August 17.
