■ Cat lovers from across the city flocked to the Western Province Cat Club’s final show for the year on Saturday August 26, at the Edgemead Community Hall. 7de Laan soapie actress Vinette Ebrahim, who plays Charmaine in the soapie, 7de Laan, and who is the proud owner of Khush, a seal tabby point Siamese, judged the domestic pets.  Pictured is Renette Bloem, of Brackenfell, holding her cat, Srangrila Lord Lasalle of Renecoons, which was named the judges’ favourite of the day.
