About 170 people lined up along the pavements at the corner of Blaauwberg Road and Pentz Drive to protest against the use of animals at the McLaren’s circus, which is currently set up at the Table View Football Club. Organised by Beauty without Cruelty, the protesters held anti-animal cruelty placards, some wearing animal ears and faces, one even clutching a large toy tiger.
