Police are investigating a murder following the shooting of a 64-year-old woman in Wallacedene.
The woman was shot in the back of the head on the corner of Maroela and Ntongabini streets, on Tuesday August 20, said police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
No arrests have been made.
Police have meanwhile opened an inquest docket after an unidentified man’s body was found on the corner of Botfontein and Maroela roads, Wallacedene, on Wednesday August 21, at 9.20am, according to police spokesperson Anelisiwe Manyana.
