■ Curro Durbanville Grade 7 Lisa Bezuidenhoud participated in the South African Performing Arts Competition in Port Elizabeth last month, winning four gold medals for drama and keyboard. She also won the junior overall instrumental category, as well as a medal for her junior drama top 3 placement. Lisa will represent her county in the, Talent America competition in America later this year.

: Curro Durbanville High School Grade 11 Kyla Ackhurst competed in the national rounds of the Talent Africa competition in Port Elizabeth last month. She got her provincial colours in the performing arts and was selected to represent South Africa at Talent America. She scored 79% for vocal pop, 82% for vocal open, 83% for instrumental contemporary and 80% for instrumental classical.
