■ Pupils from Christine Bam Music Studio excelled at the Stellenbosch Eisteddfod. Ms Bam is a music teacher and choir conductor at several schools, including JG Meiring High School in Goodwood, Brackenfell High School, Junior Campus Private School in Kuils River. Leigh-Ann Clarence, 14, achieved gold plus for musical theatre.
The Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein (formerly the Tygertalk Kuils River) was established in 1996 and rebranded as the Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein in 2015. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Zevenwacht Mall, Kraaifontein Shopping Centre and Cape Gate Shopping Centre within its distribution area.
