Man arrested with drugs and stolen phone

A patrol by Goodwood Crime Prevention Unit led to the arrest of one man who was in possession of drugs and stolen property.

On Wednesday March 11 at about 7.45am a resident reported theft of a cellphone.

Officers found a man fitting the description of the thief hiding in a Hamilton Street house.

Police say the man was carrying 24 packets of tik, eight mandrax tablets and three cellphones.

The thief was charged and is to appear in Goodwood Magistrate’s Court.
