With the South African Lifesaving Championships set to take place in a few weeks’ time in Port Elizabeth, lifeguards from around the peninsula had one final chance to hone their skills as they competed at the Western Cape championships, held in Strand, at the weekend. Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Club were crowned overall champions.
The Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein (formerly the Tygertalk Kuils River) was established in 1996 and rebranded as the Northern News Kuils River/Brackenfell/Kraaifontein in 2015. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Zevenwacht Mall, Kraaifontein Shopping Centre and Cape Gate Shopping Centre within its distribution area.
