KroesRocks Day Out celebrates natural hair

Natural hair enthusiasts from far and wide gathered at the annual KroesRocks Day Out natural hair festival at the GrandWest Casino on Saturday December 16.

The KroesRocks Day Out is a celebration of natural hair and the natural hair movement says KroesRocks founder, Simone Thomas.

The event was sponsored by several sponsors and a national radio station.

Festival goers were treated to panel discussions, guest speakers, and musical performances by The Black Ties, Salome, and Youngstacpt.

Each ticket holder received a gift bag and could access masterclasses as well as receive a free hair cut from Legends Barber at the event or have their hair styled at the Slay Station.
