Police arrested a suspected burglar in Windsor Park on Monday April 8.
A homeowner startled the intruder when he went to investigate a suspicious noise in the yard of his De Jager Street home at 10am.
The man was trying to get over his high fence and make a break for freedom, according to police.
The homeowner caught the man and handed him over the police.
Kraaifontein police spokesman Captain Hein Hendricks said the burglar had broken in through a kitchen window and had taken a Dell laptop, a gold watch, a headlamp, a Canon camera and a pocket knife.
