■ Curro Durbanville Primary School siblings Elandri and SD Schmidt got gold at the Western Cape Biathle Championships held at Ruens Kollege in Bredasdorp last month. They both came first in their respective age groups. Elandri competed in the under-15 age group – even though she is still only 13 – and SD in the under-11 age group. These athletes will now represent the Western Cape at the SA Championships in Port Elizabeth later this year.
