Education MEC Debbie Schafer visited Hector Peterson Secondary School, in Kraaifontein, where the Dropula water-saving device was piloted. Installed by tech firm Bridgiot, it has helped the school save 38 000 litres of water a day and about R50 000 a month. The device is now being rolled out to other schools in the province with the help of Shoprite.
