With regards to your article (“Rebels crowned inaugural Kolbe Sevens champs,” Northern News, November 29), credit must go to the events organisers for this great and spectacular event.
More events like this should be organised in our greater Kraaifontein areas that have become home to gang-related activities destroying our youth and our communities.
The City of Cape Town must work closely with sports organisations because the more events we have at the various facilities, the fewer cases of vandalism we will see at them and the more youth we will be able to keep off the streets.
