Metro police swooped on a Tanzanian national accused of dealing in drugs in Parow Valley last
week.
Parow police spokesman Captain Kevin Williams said the man was caught at a random stop-and-search roadblock.
“When police searched the car, they immediately smelled a strong dagga odour. After searching the boot compartment, they discovered 850 grams of dagga.
“A metro police officer told the suspect to take them to the house they saw him driving out of.”
At the house, the suspect took them to a separate entrance at the back where they found 11kg of compressed dagga .
The man was arrested on a drug dealing charge.
