Goodwood police arrested a 22-year-old man after he was allegedly caught stealing perfume from a shop along Voortrekker Road.
Goodwood police spokesman Captain Waynne Theunis said a Goodwood Neighbourhood Watch member was patrolling the area at 1am on Friday October 27 when he saw a man put his hand through a broken shop window and steal perfume.
He alerted Byers Security and Goodwood police who arrested the suspect.

Applicants must be South African citizens between the ages of 20 and 50; must be able to work 16 voluntary hours a month; be medically, mentally and physically fit; must have a Grade 12 certificate; must have no visible tattoos and no criminal record.
