Brackenfell singer Tasché Burger,19, is the winner of this year’s The Voice SA competition.
During this evening’s finale at the Mosaiek Teatro in Johannesburg, Eon le Roux was voted off first, followed by the PJ Twins and then Siki Jo-Ann and finally Soné Joubert.
Nineteen-year-old Tasche, the youngest of the finalists, said she was ecstatic about her win and that the feeling was “quite surreal”.
“I never thought I’d make it this far, it’s a dream come true”, she said.
Tasché walked away with the grand prize of a Toyota RAV4,a recording contract with Universal Music South Africa, a Telkom tech bundle with a Huawei P30 Pro, a Tab M5 Lite, a router, and a Hauwei Watch GT, Telkom data an Anti-Theft Back Pack and a Truworths clothing vouchers to the value of R100 000.
